Jersey is a small Island but with an extensive road network. For divers, getting around can be a challenge and a hire car is recommended, or essential for hiring equipment and doing your own thing. Most of the shore dive sites are on the North / East coast in sheltered bays.
Due to Jersey's very large tidal range, we strongly reccommend visiting divers contact us before booking any flights / ferry for the best tides throughout the year. Some tides are unsuitable for wreck dives as there will be little / no slack water. La Collette marina, where our RIB is permanently based is 15-20min walk from the centre of St Helier and has toilet and shower facilities. We cannot offer transport to any of the dive sites or boat.
We are happy to assist individuals or groups with suggestions of things to do and places to eat. Jersey has a fantastic range of quality restaurants from Michelin star to great pub food. We also have a vibrant night life with pubs and clubs to suit all ages and tastes.
For divers who are bringing their own equipment we are happy to give advice on shore dive site and times to dive. (please note you are not allowed to carry pressurised cylinders on the car ferry). Flights are available from many regional airports and generally only take around an hour.
Water temp ranges from around 6 degrees in January to 18 / 19 degrees in Sept. We would reccommend at least a 5 / 7 mm suit in the summer to drysuit in the winter months.
